Somewhat durable

I got this toy and within the first few minutes of my dog having it she chewed off the feet and the bill of the alligator. It is still going strong just without some pieces.

This toy is still around

I have a Pit/Boxer mix. Chews up toys like no tomorrow. Still around after some time owning it now. Does have a small chunk missing here and there but still whole for the most part.

Not bad at all.

I have a husky and he demolishes every toy in his way. This toy is one of the few toys that last. You get what you pay for if not more. Its a bang for your buck, it cleans teeth, helps with dog breath and keeps them occupied like the kong.

My Shihpoo's absolute favorite toy! He is a heavy chewer and the first one I bought he bit the head off.. Decided to try it again anyway and the second has lasted ever since. Recently bought a 3rd just because he's obsessed and I want it to last long!

Virtually indestructible

Not a good treat dispenser

I bought this with the intention of using the treat dispensing feature as enrichment/encouragement to chew. Once I put a few training treats/kibble inside I could barely even get them out! Puppy had the toy for hours but lost interest bc it was nearly impossible to get treats out… I do pour some kéfir or rub canned food on the gorilla to encourage puppy to play with it but he’s essentially just a weird shaped lick mat that way.

Not suitable for mid to high intensity chewers

Unfortubately, this toy is suited to baby puppies and the lowest-intensity chewers only. My 9 month old aussie had this for about 20 minutes and was pulling pieces of it off, already. He loved the texture and was into it right away, but it's just not durable enough rubber for him.

Binned after 2 days

I got this for my 16 week old puppy as she's teething. I don't let her have toys for more than 10 minutes at a time as I don't want it to damage her teeth or get her used to chewing. She was given this toy 4 x on the first day and by the second session on the second day, she has chewed through its leg. Lucky for me. I was able to fish the bit out of her mouth before putting the toy in the bin. Such a shame as it wasn't cheap

Not for agressive chewers!!

I have a 7 month old presa canario and literally 10 min and this toy was done for, not for aggresive chewers, maybe for light chewers.

6 month puppy can bite through

No chew toy is indestructible, but for this to be for large heavy chewers I thought it could weather a 20kg 6-month old puppy’s chewing. This is after 5 mins and she has eaten a chunk of it.

Great for chewers!

Really impressed with how strong and sturdy this is, my dog has chewed his way through a tonne of other dog tough toys and this one is tougher than them all. I've got a one year old golden retriever, and he loves carrying this round the house. Just watch out they don't drop it on your toes, it does have some weight! Only downside is - don't know how you are supposed to get any treats out of it..so don't bother putting any in, the hole (comedically placed) doesnt really expand or contract when squeezing making it impossible to fish any treats out.
