Fits Kohler Elongated Toilet

I am 5'3" and find that I can easily sit and rise from this seat with little effort. I had a similar seat an inch shorter that I used when learning to walk again and I think this seat will work better as I recover very soon from a knee replacement as the extra height makes it just that must easier to get to a standing position without the use of a gait belt. Also note that I already have a high-rise toilet installed. This seat will fit a Kohler elongated toilet and is stable. It is not elongated in shape but rather round so there is a tiny gap in the front but, it poses no problems for use. I took a star off the rating because it is not truly elongated.

I Asked for 4 Inch and Got 5 Inch

I had already purchased a 5-inch seat in the past. It came from a different supplier. It says it supports up to 300 lbs. I love it, but wanted one slightly shorter, as well, for use elsewhere. I looked at many here before I decided on this 4-inch high seat. The one I received from this supplier is also 5-ich, however. (By the way, the ad here says the 4-nch supports up to 400 lbs.) The weight is not a factor for me, but it might be for someone else making this purchase. I did not return this last purchase over the one-inch difference. These seats are so helpful to me. I don't know how I could live independently without them! They are sturdy, easy to place, and easy to clean. When I clean the bathrooms, I remove them and give them a wipe down with Lysol.

It adds 4 inches because...

This product was essential after my hip replacement, and now I need it again for an injured knee. Some of the reviews seem to complain that it is 5 inches high, but advertises as 4 inches. This is truth in advertising, because you must lift up the normal toilet seat in order to insert this one. So you end up sitting only 4 inches higher than you did on the hinged seat. I have to tell you that it did slip on me a time or two before I learned to sit straight down and not to shove off when I got up. Its plusses made up for that: excellent price, lightweight, easy to clean. Just set it in the base and go. PS i am a female living alone. Another model might be an easier target for a standing man.

I ordered this for my hubby who had a bad leg injury and he loved it. This seat fits perfectly on the toilet and it’s very comfortable, gonna buy one for myself as well????????

4in riser

I love it but my toilet is more elongated than this seat and I turned and fell. So I put my walker in front of it. But Is there a riser seat that fits a more for a handicapped toilet. ?? Suggestions?

Simple solution at a good price

Due to severe degenerative arthritis, I have a hip replacement in my future. This raised seat makes my life easier, since I am able to raise or lower myself onto the toilet. A shorter distance. No parts to install, just place it on the toilet base, with the regular seat and lid both raised and against the tank at the back of the toilet. It stays in place well, and I am a satisfied customer.
