RE: Great, cushy socks a tad large

I thought I would try the Amazon Basics version of ankle cotton socks. They are very cosy and soft, the design is pleasing, I actually love them. However, they run large. The size was 8-12 which is a generic standard size for most socks. Instead it was closer to size11. So there is extra fabric at the back of the sock. But they were so comfortable, I decided to keep them. But, 'warning' they run large!

The socks changed

The 2 horizontal stripe version of these Amazon ankle socks are awesome. For at wlast year, they seem to be unavailable and the new three stripe version is not the same. The new socks are a couple inches too long and thinner. I don't like them. I really want to purchase the older version.

The fabric is very soft. So far I am satisfied with there performance.

Nice socks. They’re definitely going to last and they offer good support. Just a little big on me.

They are socks. Have stood up to a season's worth of wear. Minimal shrinkage. Still socks.

Comfy but…

The socks are great for the house but not shoes. The socks would not stay in place as I went for a walk.

Sad that these aren’t better

This review causes me pain to write. These socks are sooooo comfortable. I love to cozy my foot into them! The problem is that I bought them to wear with my new tennis shoes and they don’t work. They are a tad on the thick side. But the worst part is that only a few seconds into wearing them with my shoes and they are slipping down to my heels into the shoes. Yes, that is one of the most annoying things that could happen ever! So now I’m stuck with socks that only work well outside of shoes. No bueno. ????????????????

Sorry but these are TERRIBLE!

Remember that awful feeling you get when you're out for a sunny stroll with the dogs...and your socks are falling down? Two minutes after putting the first pair of these on, I KNEW these socks would fall down! Forget working out in them! I can't walk further than a few feet before they're snaking their way under the sole of my feet! My recommendation? DON'T! Just DON'T!

wash before wear

I may have found my new favourite sock. Extremely comfortable. Thick material but breathable. Low profile for sneakers. Always wash your Amazon basic product before use. They come with brown stuff on them! (I’ve had this happen a couple times now) I wear a size 8 to 8 1/2 shoe. Good fit. I’m unsure if they would fit a larger size as it’s snug

Pretty crappy

The description says these socks will fit size 6 to 9. They are too big for me and I am size 7. The elastic around the ankle is not tight so when I am walking the socks are slipping off the back of my heel.

Good quality and fit

These are my go to daily socks now and they are good quality. Have a thickness to them which is nice and I found the fit perfect.

WAY too big!

I wear a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe and these are far too large. The average woman today are taller and have a larger foot so it’s extremely difficult to find a sock that fits anymore.
