Gaps in buttons

Loved the idea of this sweater. Nice length, nice feel, nice color. But if you have a fuller chest, the buttons do that all-too-familiar gapping thing.

The collar!

Opening at bottom is not flattering

I like this sweater a lot. It's soft and the knit has a nice drape. They only thing that I don't like about it is that the bottom has a high button design and the bottom hem gapes. This is the design, but when I wear this sweater, unless I have high waist pants, it ends up showing my belly which is not flattering and definitely not professional to wear at work. I am constantly adjusting it when I wear it.

Thin but decent

I think this sweater fits as expected, but I'm not completely sure as I inadvertently ordered the wrong size. The large I ordered fits tight, as I would expect because I normally wear an extra large. My bad, but I assume the extra large would fit well. Even without my mess-up, however, I don't know that this would be my favorite sweater. It is rather thin, but it works best when worn by itself. Unbuttoning it and wearing it over another item seems to make it loose its shape - it hangs funny and looks frumpy. But because it is so thin, wearing it by itself only works on warmer days, which kind of defeats the purpose of wearing a sweater. Otherwise, the sweater is fine. The ribbing and the collar are nice and the color (dark caramel) is rich and earthy. The sleeves are long for me, but I have short arms, so I am used to that. I do have to roll up the sleeves by several inches. If I had ordered the right size, I would be happy to have this addition to my wardrobe for in-between days at work or for an extra layer to wear around the house when I don't mind looking frumpy. For the price it's not a bad deal.

More button down shirt than cardigan

Size reference: I am 5’6” and 126 lbs. I normally where a US small and ordered the small. The fit is as expected. Material: 72% viscose, 28% polyester. The ribbing makes this top ultra stretchy. The material is a bit slick feeling and thin enough to see through from the inside out but not with normal wear. The collar is crisply edged and gives this top a dressier look. However, I firmly believe Daily Ritual made a button down long sleeve shirt. When left unbuttoned, the “cardigan” stays opens more than usual because the ribbing bounces back when not secured by the buttons. When buttoned over a camisole or other shirt, there are some unflattering lumps visible from the outside. The material is not knitted, cozy, or warm-which are all things I associate with a good cardigan. Recommendation: Generally speaking, I am a fan of Daily Ritual attire. I have the half-button shirt variation if this top and I do prefer that version. I do not consider this top to be a cardigan but as I shirt I do like it. If it was advertised as a shirt rather than a cardigan, I would be more inclined to recommend. In my opinion, it looks best when worn alone and buttoned up.

Very light cardigan

This cardigan is really cute and soft; it is not a warm enough for winter but it is a good transition piece. It's perfect for Florida weather.

The media could not be loaded. Dieser Cardigan glänzt durch angenehmen Sitz, dabei fällt der Schnitt im Mittel etwas kurz aus, kommt darauf an, wie man es mag. Die Materialien bestehen aus 72% Viskose, und 28% Polyester mit Langarm Schnitt. Pflegehinweis: Maschinenwäsche bei 30 Grad und wenn man nur bei 30 Grad wäscht und danach Lufttrocknet, wird das Ergebnis der Wäsche prima sein. Da ich einen Flausch Trockner habe, welcher nur durchlüften kann, ohne Wärmestufen, habe ich nach der 2ten Wäsche auch mit dem Trockner versucht zu trocknen, und alles wurde ganz prima, also sind die modernen Trockner auch dafür geeignet, obwohl der Hersteller es NICHT empfiehlt. Taschen sucht man vergeblich bei dieser Strickjacke, aber wenn man das vorher weiss, kann man sich ja entsprechend darauf vorbereiten. Mich hat noch ein wenig gestört dass die Knopfleiste nicht bis ganz nach unten reichte, so kann die Strickjacke rechts und links etwas abstehen, in Abhängigkeit der Passform. Da sonst der ganze Schnitt stimmt, und alles da sitzt wo es hingehört, bei wirklich sauberen Nähten, möchte ich doch eine 4 Sterne Kauf Empfehlung geben, besonders weil die Pflege-Wäschen die Passform nicht verändert hatten.
