Nicely made - but dog cooperation is key

These boots are well-constructed. It is important to measure your dog's paw to insure the correct size. This did fit the dog I had intended them for, but he was very apprehensive and walked awkwardly with them on. He is an older dog, and don't think I can get him to accept them. If you have a puppy and get them used to it at an early age, it may go easier for you. These are shown on my 7 month old female Rott-mix puppy. She's very cooperative about me putting them on, and they are easy to put on her, but they don't quite fit just yet (I didn't measure these for her). They're a bit loose and wide on her, but I think they might fit once she's full grown.

Good quality but takes work

I got size 5 which is recommended for dogs between 40-55 pounds and they were the correct size for my 50 pound pit bull mix. They seem well made and would do a good job protecting her feet - if I had the patience to keep training her to accept them. Unfortunately it takes some work to get most dogs used to wearing booties, and she's still not a fan. It's not the fault of the boots though - they are relatively easy to put on with the velcro tabs and although she can get them off easily if she tries, someday I may spend enough time (and use enough treats) to get her comfortable wearing them.

Fit my dog perfectly but he kicks them off easily after a while

I ordered a size 3 for my Shiba, who is considered a small to medium sized dog (he is currently about 30 pounds though which is large for that breed). Definitely measure your dog's paws vs going off of the pounds though. These were an almost too perfect fit for my dog, so they worked out. Anytime we put something on his paws, he walks around very funny because he can't feel his feet touch the ground. It took a long time for him to actually walk around semi normal, but he seemed comfortable in them. The only thing is that while they seem to hold well when we first put them on, after some time, he managed to kick them off. I swear I put them on tight enough, so maybe the hold isn't as strong on the straps. Just something to look out for. But otherwise, I think they are made with good quality materials and the grip on the bottom of the shoe is great. He loves being out in the snow so that's what I got these for. He also hates getting his paws wet, so these will come in handy when it rains again this season.

good quality, but too big

These boots appear to be very good quality. The materials waterproof, the fabric is very well stitched. The adjustable velcro straps are easy to use and stick very well, the non slip bottom are thick and high quality. However, the boots are still too big for my 15lbs dog so they just slipped right out even though I tried to strap it as tight as possible. I think I would need one smaller than the smallest size to work. Also, I feel like my dogs' front paws are slightly bigger than the rear paws so I think these boots set need to be in different sizes to accommodate it for small dogs. These boots will probably fit a 25lb+ dog better.

Doggie boots but they take time

The media could not be loaded. We wanted a pair of dog boots for walking in the snow or pavement on hot summer days. The boots are not easy to put on for my puppy since she doesn't really like us touching her feet and we know that they require training. They are a 2-person job for us and we've only been able to get the front feet on. They look really goofy on her and she walks funny if she has time to think about it. We have been treating with high value treats and running back and forth which has helped. When she's on the tile floor she walks more natural than on carpet. She is able to rip them off if she really tries but she does it less frequently after getting more comfortable in them. They have 2 thin Velcro straps and one is reflective.

nice shoes

My cat wears shoes when he wants to go outside in the snow or ice. I'm worried about salt, and he doesn't mind these. He's an inside guy but we have a catio (no salt) and occasionally I put a harness on him. These work well. Recommended.

Smallest size fit our 18lb doodle fine! Adorable hilarious learning curve

Too cute! Smallest size fit on our 18-20lb doodle despite my worries that it might be too big. I used the weight range on the listing description (18-27lb) to guess which size since I couldn't measure her exact paw size. Strap is reflective and stays on securely, rubber sole seems to grip OK, looks absolutely adorable like a shrunken human water shoe ???? Of course takes a bit to get used to (so coax with treats). Our dog is new to shoes and was reluctant to move, had some clompy wacky legged steps when she did, but she's getting better! Bought for use around the city when it rains or snows to keep her feet clean so will update when we get more testing w/ weather + if she ever gets comfortable enough to wear outside. At the least, made for some very adorable videos which probably aren't helpful to your product selection but I can't help but sharing. Might upload in future ???? I am unfamiliar with the market for this particular item and thus cannot assess "value for product" sufficiently. First impressions, will update if I find further benefits or issues w/ more use in the future.

Fit my golden retriever

I got size 7 for my golden retriever and they fit her. She is already accustomed to wearing shoes so these didn't bother her at all. I don't generally have a problem with cold weather as we are in Texas (minus the every 2 year or so snowpocalypse we get that shuts the state down for 3-4 days) but I do prefer she wear paw protection from the scalding hot surfaces we most certainly do get without fail. These were easy to put on her. I like the reflective strip. I don't leave them on her for extended periods as dogs do sweat through their paws and these are not especially breathable but they serve their purpose when we run to the local Home Improvement store, etc. I love the little paw print embroidered on them. They have a rubber sole and are fairly rigid. I find these types work best as others I've tried in the past end up being too floppy and she trips. They are waterproof as well. Goldens have a tendency to find water wherever they go.

Buon prodotto.

Un accessorio per il nostro cane che può essere utile in diverse occasioni. Personalmente ho uno shih-tzu, un cagnolino medio piccolo dal pelo lungo e che quindi si sporca molto facilmente. Queste scarpette possono essere utili quando piove, quando l’asfalto è molto caldo o durante le scampagnate su terreni “difficili”. Nel mio caso purtroppo ho preferito non utilizzarle, visto che il mio cane è avanti con l’età e comincia ad avere qualche piccolo problema di mobilità; ho ritenuto che farlo abituare a nuove andature aggiungendo ulteriori difficoltà, fosse meglio evitarlo. In ogni caso le ho fatte testare ad un parente che possiede un barboncino il quale ha ottenuto ottimi risultati. Le scarpette sono ben rifinite, hanno una doppia chiusura e sono dotate di suola in gomma antiscivolo (molto simile a quella delle scarpe umane). Anche le cuciture appaiono di buona fattura. Come detto, una volta valutata l’utilità, possono rivelarsi un prodotto molto utile.

Buen ajuste en las patas

Para poner una referencia, mi perro es un Shiba Inu que pesa unos 13kg, y le han quedado de lujo.... Tienen un acolchado interno, y un doble velcro, con lo que una vez puestos no se salen. Yo en mi caso les veo dos usos principales, por un lado te vienen genial si te quieres llevar el perro a la nieve, esto les protege un montón sus patitas, y por otro lado si tiene alguna herida en las almohadillas, pues también es muy práctico, especialmente en días de mucho calor si le tienes que llevar por ciudad, que el suelo se pone a una temperatura muy alta. A destacar como digo esa capa extra de acolchado, y en general, me han gustado mucho, no son caras y perfectas para dejarlas en el maletero del coche, ya que no ocupan nada, una muy buena opción

They stay on!

The media could not be loaded. Unlike other boots I have tried, they actually stay on his feet! There are two velcro straps which hold them securely. I ordered size 2 for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and they are a perfect fit. I don't know how long they will last as we have only used them several times so far but they seem fairly well made. As an added bonus, you get two pairs so you can't go wrong.

Utili in determinate occasioni

Premetto che non “vestirei” i cani per gioco ma, in determinate occasioni, può essere necessario aiutarli. Il mio cane nello specifico, ha avuto problemi di salute che spesso ci costringono a escamotage per tutelarla, nel caso specifico queste scarpette ci sono servite per evitare che si facesse male dopo un intervento chirurgico. Tuttavia, a parte questo spiacevole episodio, credo ci saranno utili anche il prossimo inverno, se dovesse nevicare più del dovuto, per evitare che nelle dita delle zampe la neve dovesse gelare (si formano dei piccoli ghiaccioli nelle frange del pelo) ferendo così le zampe, oppure se andassimo per boschi nel periodo delle castagne per non pungersi con i ricci. Sono disponibili diverse misure, quindi troverete di certo quella che fa per voi, hanno la suola gommata, quindi antiscivolo e la chiusura a strappo in velcro per regolare la larghezza e fermarli adeguatamente per non perdere la scarpa Devo precisare che il cane (e, a quanto ho letto, non solo il mio) non ha preso benissimo l’idea della scarpetta le prime volte non l’ha presa benissimo, nel senso che si impallava ferma immobile, non concependo di doverci camminare e, quando poi si è rassegnata a farlo, assumeva un passo abbastanza traballante (simpaticamente ridicolo).
