Great lights

Great lights for a great price. Only thing is that they seem to be more of a bright white than advertised. It doesn’t bother me too much because the lights are on a dimmer so I can make them less of a bright white. Over all great buy, only time will tell how long they will last

Cooler alternative to halogen

Used to replace halogen bulbs in an apartment track light. Light dispersement is good and the heat from the lights is negligible compared to the halogen.

Works well but not the sturdiest construction

These LED mini spots work well. I have plenty of GU10-based lamps in our home, and these were a fine replacement for some of the last halogen 50W bulbs we had in service. Four of them went into an overhead track light fixture, controlled by a Lutron Maestro LED+ dimmer, and work flawlessly. One went into a new IKEA "Nymåne" swing arm lamp, controlled by a built-in rheostat, and it works flawlessly. The sixth bulb in the package cannot be used. One of the two rigid pins in the GU10 base pushed into the housing, and thus won't ever work in a GU10 socket. I'm counting it as the price I paid for overall economy and a useful replacement for the five lamps that are now working.

Pretty nice for LED!

Looks good to me! I was previously using Halogen bulbs - the LED bulb is on the left in the pictures, the halogen bulb on the right. At a low dim, you can see the difference in color, but at the full high you can barely tell the difference. It does give off a warm light, which was my primary concern. I just got the bulbs, so this is only Day 1… I’ll edit this review in time if need be regarding longevity or anything else.

Good light bulb

They don’t seem to last as long as promised

All died after either a power surge or outage.

So... I bought those in January 2022, was very pleased with those in our kitchen, replaced halogen bulbs. Today, we had high winds and either a power outage or a power surge, not sure which. Our house breaker was tripped, when we turned the breakers back on, all 9 of the light bulbs in the kitchen were dead, this was confirmed by screwing in some of the extra bulbs left over, which turned on. All other lights in the house were fine, none of the other lights were GU10, they are screw in bulbs, but still LED. I researched online and it seems that some LED bulbs are sensitive to power surges and can blow out, particularly those that are GU10 style. I'm not sure if the "dimmable" aspect was also a factor, allowing a higher voltage to be run through the bulbs and blow them out. I have no doubt that if I ordered more of this bulb, they would work fine... until the next surge or outage. I'm now trying to find "non-dimmable" GU10 LED bulbs, and am struggling, it's like they all are "dimmable." There's also material out there that recommends people add a surge protector to the electrical lines that connect their LED bulbs... ugh. I also tried to find GU10 bulbs that may have surge protection within, no luck so far. There's no point in replacing older style lights if LED is going to be much more susceptive to power fluctuations. If your house is electrically well protected/insulated for surges, then you should not have an issue with those bulbs.

Hard to install, but so far, so good.

Bulbs are hard to install. The light I have has a glass cone around each bulb. To install bulbs in the past, I've used a little suction cup tool that came with the fixture. If you do something similar, it won't work on these. The front surface of the bulb is not flat so you can't get a firm grasp on it. It's the old push and twist with your fingertips. Good luck.

Not as sensitive on a dimmer as other bulbs.

I bought these to replace some BAZZ bulbs in my pot lights. They work, the color temp is nice, and the brightness is not bad. However, when the dimmer is set at a minimum, this bulb does NOT turn on. The dimmer needs to be around 10% brightness, at which point it seems a little dimmer than the other bulbs. Slightly irritating on a smart dimmer, but I don't feel like replacing the other 13 perfectly good bulbs until the burn out. They're much less expensive, and find in a group. Not ideal as a replacement bulb for me though.

Perfect

I replaced some halogen ones that died in a bathroom with these. These are awesome. They do not heat up while the halogen ones get so hot so quickly it is scary. These ones are also nice and bright and the light disperses smoothly. I would use these and never get halogen ones again. I highly recommend them.
