Great scraper
Good tool for scraping but wish edge was a little sharper like a razor blade. Long handle makes it ergonomic in your hand and easy to hold. Great for completing projects and easier than using small razor blades or small blade holder. Your fingers and hand doesn’t cramp up or get tired from holding it while scraping. Bought this to scrape off two layers of old chalk in a bathroom. Was using small razor blade and it was taking me hours just to do a small patch. Decided to give up and purchase this. Glad I did. Job is complete and my fingers are intact.

It takes a bit of muscle, but in the hands of a strong arm, it does the job and cleans up the tile

Useful
The media could not be loaded. I find it a very useful article, it works a lot for me because I work cleaning the house and it helps me reach areas where I can't reach with a sponge.

The red scraper
There was old tape on my living room window has been up there for three or four years Sun baked on as far as me using this scraper it didn't work out for me maybe I just don't know how to add the right kind of pressure to remove the old tape

Excellent.
Bought this scraper to use on my fish tank. I suffer from really bad limescale in my tank as I live in a very hard water area. This removes it in almost one pass(depending how long I've left it between cleaning!!). It is also great for removing algae and that film that builds up on aquarium glass over time. I have bought expensive aquarium scrapers over the years and this is up there or better than all of them at a fraction of the price. I can't vouch for how long the blades last(I've only used it once) but I'm sure I can buy replacement blades. Here's a tip to extend the life of the blade, remove it after use, carefully wipes any residue off, dry it completely with kitchen towel and then put the blade in a clear resealable plastic food bag. This will keep the blade dry and help prevent it from rusting. I highly recommend this scraper as a cheaper alternative to expensive aquarium products.

it's impossible to find correct replacement blades for this, so it's useless

Does not fit suggested spare blades.
"Frequently bought together" items recommended on this page are NOT COMPATIBLE. i.e. the replacement scraper blades from seller "Royal Blades" listed as often bought with this scraper do not fit the Amazon Basics scraper. FYI otherwise an adequate lightweight domestic DIY scraper.

Great Scraper!
Really nice scraper - the handle is comfortable and easy to use at a range of angles. The 4" wide blade gives better coverage than narrower ones. So far, I've used this on our ceramic hob, on the oven door, and to remove burnt on food from the bottom of frying pans, all of which it has coped with admirably.

Affordable and does the job really well!
Annoyed at myself for sleeping on buying one of these for so long! Used this to clean out my oven and clean as I was moving out, it scraped out any cooked on grease so well and left no scratches whatsoever! Only note would be it would help to have a cap of some kind as the blade is just out and you need to be careful where you’re storing but I love this tool now!!
