I'd love to say just look first to see if you need these

I bought these, and a rubber grommet kit. Neither worked. The sizes were either too big or too small. One review said he put a penny in to get it to fit, it was not even large enough for that. Ended up realizing I didnt even need these tools. My valves were not recessed into the wall, I was able to use a standard wrench and needle nose pliers to do everything.... tools I already had. My valve cartridge is something that resembles a Delta Faucet RP1740 cartridge. I bought this wrench kit used for 10 bucks, they came in perfect condition. I'm guessing someone like me probably returned them because they were useless in the end, and can't even use in the future. I suppose it's my fault for not realizing I didnt need them. After removing the cartridge and realizing none of the grommets in the kit even matched... I just had to put everything back together and look for a whole cartridge replacement with the seat and spring that is also required if those are bad. I know a 4 star review wouldnt get noticed as much, but really not the manufacturer's or seller's fault in the least. If you are new to any sort of plumbing like me, just look at some youtube videos first and take the handle off. You don't have to do much more to realize whether you will need these wrenches or not, if its recessed in the wall it will be obvious... then, hope to hell that one of the sizes match, because well... how could us non-plumbing noobs ever know??? All in all, was cheaper than calling out a plumber, and after putting back together (and NOT replacing anything) it seems the leak has slowed down or stopped completely, seems the valve may have just been too loose. :facepalm:

Have only used it once, thankfully. Valve seat wrench worked great to pull out a seat after >25 years and replace with a new one. Haven't used the sockets so can't comment on them aside from they appear as pictured and should be fine.

Great Product

I needed to replace our hot water shower stem on a Eljer faucet original to our 55 years old house to stop a drip. I got one at local Axx hardware store meant for the purpose. It bent and rounded out on first attempt. I returned them. I checked Amazon and found these and several good reviews and some not so good. I took a chance and ordered these. I tried them today and they worked fine and they did not bend or round out. It took a lot of force and a big adjustable crescent wrench on the opposite end to free the stem after all these years. The new stem stopped the shower dripping and saved me from removing part of the shower tile to replace the whole faucet assembly just to stop a drip. I have used an inline shutoff valve on the shower head for several years but finally decided to fix it once and for all. Thanks General Tool.

Great value!

Grohe 19 332 faucet cartridge tool is stupid expensive. Bought this based on variety of sizes and someone wrote they used it on their Grohe faucet. The 1 9/32" is the size you need for a 32mm wrench! Arrived a day early and I saved a tonne of money doing it myself with an affordable wrench and OEM Grohe cartridge. Buy with confidence, it's a great item.

Just used it to replace my Shower Diverter

Came in 2 days with Prime, and it worked like a charm. I thought from the photo that it may not be long enough to reach the hex lock, as it is kinda deep in the wall with tiles and drywall adding thickness, but they are MUCH bigger/longer then they look in the photo. And they were half the price ($18.99) of the similar set at Rona ($34,99). And that was without spending $10 in gas and losing an hour round trip! My shower diverter is working perfectly now, I am very happy with the purchase. Oh, and there was no looseness either, it fit snug. About the only thing I would want more is a rubber stopper on the lever, as a couple of time is slipped out and hit the floor on me. A Rubber push on stopper would have been Cherry on top.

Works great for Grohe cartridge replacement (32mm socket)

If you're looking to replace a Grohe cartridge and need to find that 32mm socket, this set will do the trick. Standard socket bits are too thick walled to get into the faucet housing, but these are designed exactly for that. The 1 9/32" bit will work in place of 32mm. Sturdy design but note that the set is likely larger than you expect. Highly recommended.
