Fixed my damaged threads

This die worked great to fix the threads on my NP231J transfer case front output shaft.

A bit pricey - but cheaper and quicker than a complete replacement

Doing an oil change and found a stripped bolt (or 2) on the filter adapter. Really had 2 choices: replace the entire part ($80-120) and a couple hours of work, or rethread the bolts with a die. Have done the same with wheel lug bolts (rather than changing them). And yes, a single die for a single purpose is always more expensive up front, but it is such a time saver, for me it justifies the cost. Solid tool. No problems using it.

Great tool

Works great for redoing and re taping axle threads , it's made in Japan but amazingly good quality and cuts very well . I've used mine on 2 jobs already
