Stunning design
Have bought 4 of these floor lamps. As others have noted the wood color received is lighter than illustrated in listing. The base is in two pieces that screw together and the wood grain is not lined up. Having said that, these are still fantastic looking floor lamps. Once assembled the wood grain alignment issue is not much of a concern to me because overall these floor lamps are really cool looking. Well made. Very stable. Have received many compliments about them. I plug them into an inline dimmer to make them more versatile.

Probably paid too much
Admittedly, I probably paid way too much for this lamp, but I wasn’t seeing the price drop. Regardless, it’s a really good looking lamp. It’s very sturdy. I had been wanting to update the lighting for a long while and fell in love with this one. Side by side pictures show subtle differences between what arrived and what was advertised, and I do wish the wood was darker. But overall, I do really like it.

The wood grain was much lighter than what was described.
This light fixture was not the color in the picture or what was described; the wood was much lighter. We stained it darker. It’s a nice lamp aside from the color disappointment.

Nice lamp for the price!
Not sure if some of the other reviewers on here got a previous version of the product or what but they made me hesitant to buy. I'm glad I did! It looks exactly like the picture. The shade needs to be aligned correctly once you attach it to the base (it literally took me one second to push it over) but the curve from base to shade is smooth and continuous. There are a couple minor joint lines in the wood base but they are almost impossible to see. I would not have noticed them had I not been specifically looking for them, and even then I had a hard time. The retention ring is made of plastic but I expect that from a $70 lamp. I know it says espresso in the title, but that's the name of the collection. The pics and description clearly state it's a medium-toned walnut color--and it is. It's not the most expensive lamp in the world, but for the price it works and is exactly what I was looking for. I did only buy one so I can't say whether or not multiples wouldn't match each other, as other reviewers did. I'm guessing they adjusted the manufacturing on these and some of the older reviews may not apply.

Absolutely beautiful lamp
Based on other reviews, I’m very lucky that my specific lamp arrived in perfect condition and the two pieces fit properly. It’s extremely heavy because it’s solid wood. If you love the mid-mod, clean look of this lamp, I recommend this one highly. Its tiny footprint allows for it to be used in many locations. It’s pricey and for me, it was a well-chosen splurge.

Awesome Lamp...Dimmer can be Attached!!
I fell in love with this lamp and have had my eye on this lamp for around 6 months. I've watched the pricing on this lamp fluctuate from $198 to $310 then down to $157. When it dropped down to $157, I knew it wouldn't get any cheaper, so I ordered it. When it arrived, I was very pleased with Dark Walnut Finish, it matched our furniture perfectly. I was also happy it was %100 Solid Wood with a Glass Lighting Fixture. My only issue, was that it did not have a light dimming switch. After doing some research on Amazon, I ordered the Litron TT Dimming Switch ($12.14). When it arrived, I then ordered an 150 watt 3 way/ Dimmable bulb and was able to easily dim the light on my lamp. I later tried using a 3 way 150 watt energy saving L.E.D bulb, but I was unable to find an energy saving bulb that didn't make a buzzing sound whenever I dimmed the light, so I went back to using a regular incandescent bulb. Overall, I love this lamp; it's modern looking and unique without looking weird. Hopefully I can find an energy saving bulb that doesn't make a buzzing sound when I use the dimmer....

Wood Finish is not uniform and for "espresso" arrived much lighter than described and in photo! CAUTION when ordering!
Sadly, I had to dock this 2 stars because of the finish! If it would have been uniform and truly "espresso" a darker wood color like a walnut or even a midline cherry I would have been so very happy and ordered 3 more!!! This is how the photo is shown amazon so maybe add this disclaimer to the description somewhere! I needed a pair so so now am in a "debunckle" lol! On one hand I am glad that I didn't the order the second , or I would have twice the problems right now lol! However, these were purchased with a definite purpose and plan in mind exactly where they were going . (on top of a fireplace mantel that is darker wood flanking both sides of the fireplace and the fireplace is cherry wood also. (ironically a real espresso finish ) I now only have this one and have to decide if I can return to exchange for a "better finish" one or exactly what my options are! The present price is TOO HIGH with this finish being much lighter than expected and not uniform (which is a REASONABLE EXPECTATION) for the price these are sold at and the description!!! I don't feel comfortable at this time ordering a second at the price these presently are as I know I probably will receive exactly what I just received with this one (still have a finish issue) and would feel it is very overpriced for the quality and finish received!
