Does not provide as much support at my arch area as I would like
These Small-size Active Insoles fit into my men's size 8, D-width shoes without needing to trim the insoles, although it took a little effort to squeeze the insoles into the front part of my shoes. The Active Insoles are thin at the front (from ball of my feet to my toes); I measure this thickness to be 1/8-inch, which is the same as that of the insoles that came with my shoes. note: I do not wear insoles that come with the shoes I wear. Instead, I use semi-rigid insoles. I have flat feet; when I walk, my feet turn outwards, and my arch hits the ground. So, my feet (and back) don't hurt as much when I wear insoles that are semi-rigid at the arch and the heels. The part of these Active Insoles that support my arch are not rigid enough to hold up my arch when I am standing, or walking. After wearing them throughout the day, my feet felt more fatigued than they did while I was using my preferred insoles. I like how my heels feel in the deep heel cup part of these insoles. The pads at the bottom of the heel cup give decent support with each step that I take. The part of these insoles that correspond to the ball of my feet are slightly raised; curiously, there is a dip that I can feel as I run my fingers over this raised area. When I looked at the bottom of the insoles, I can see the separation between the light blue and dark blue areas (which the product description page labels as Rebound Forefoot Zone) - this separation is where the dip occurs. I did not feel much support from this padded area of the Active Insoles. Overall, these Active Insoles do not give as good of a support to my arch and heels as the semi-rigid insoles that I use. So, I will go back to wearing those insoles.

Just Cushioning no Support
Don't get these insoles if you are really looking for support for plantar fasciitis or a similar issue. They are too soft to help. You need the semi- to rigid insoles that support your arch and cup you heel. My entire household uses various types in almost all our shoes. These Ace insoles are really just for more cushioning which doesn't do anything for your feet.

Disappointed
I have problem feet so I was really excited about receiving these Ace Insoles. I have some Propet shoes for problem feet that are too large. It was my fault that I ordered them too large. Propet shoes run large and I forgot that fact when I ordered. I knew there would be plenty of room for the insoles in these shoes. I got them out today and placed the insoles in them as I had to go to the hospital for an EKG. I always have to do a lot of walking at the hospital, so I knew that would be the perfect place to test them. I had my shoes out, removed the insole, and compared it to the Ace Insole. It was a perfect match so I just placed it in the shoe. After placing the insoles in both shoes I stood up and decided I needed the original insole in the shoe, too. I put them back in as they are super thin and once again stood up. They felt fine. Then I started walking around in them. They were awful!! The Ace heel is so high that it pushed my foot up above the heel of the shoe so I wasn't able to even walk in them. I immediately removed the Ace Insoles and put on some socks and went to the hospital, where I walked a lot. My feet did well with the socks and the original insoles. I did not find the Ace Insoles a positive addition at all. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend these Ace Insoles.

For comfort and padding, these feel pretty minimal
I got these to revive a pair of shoes that had memory foam insoles that had seen better days. I wear an 8.5 shoe, but had to trim off a considerable portion of the "Small" size of these insoles, so I think the size nomenclature is more geared toward men's shoe sizes. I was expecting to feel an upgrade from my worn-out insoles, but there was honestly not that much difference except that the new insoles felt firmer. So I tried putting the original insoles back in with these on top of them, but then my feet kept slipping out of the backs of the heels of my shoes. These don't really do much on their own for me, but then I do not have any real issues with my feet. There is firmer heel and arch support than what my shoes came with, but what I was mostly looking for was greater walking comfort - cloud-stepping, so to speak. I did not find it with these insoles.

A bit too large
I got the small size insert and I normally wear a woman's size 5 shoe. This insert is way too large for my shoes, and the way the insert is designed is not made to be cut. There should be additional sizes so that the inserts will fit properly. The reason why people generally purchase inserts is to make the shoes more comfortable, not make it less comfortable. I will be looking for other inserts as this did not work for me.

Too thin for any impact
These are the thinnest insoles I have seen. I can barely tell that they are in my shoe at all. I understand they can't be too big or your foot might not fit, but there needs to be some sort of impact for these to be considered useful. They were easy to trim to fit my shoe at least.

Not What i Needed
These did not have enough heel cushioning or arch support to be of any use to me. I can't see where they do anything except make the footbed of my shoes a bit softer overall. These are probably not going to be of much help if you have true foot problems.

Comfortable, very slight arch support
The insoles are comfortable, with several areas (ball of the foot, heel) with extra shock absorbent areas. Arch support is very slight. I got a small size; I wear size 7.5 shoe, and with a little trim, they fit my shoes well. The insoles have no cut lines, so you need to trace the old insole to trim the ACE insole to the right size.
