Awesome shorts but not for guys with big legs.
I REALLY wanted to like these shorts. The waist/crotch/butt fit perfectly. The length is just the right amount of shortness; slightly above mid-thigh. The estate blue color looks awesome. It's actually a little darker in person, than in the picture. The material feels durable. For reference, I have a 34 inch waist and Large fits great. However, the leg openings are too small for guys with big legs. They hug my legs and almost look like biker shorts. Not necessarily a bad thing, until I walk or move around. The bottom of the shorts ride up and cling to the upper part of my legs. If there was an extra 1 - 2 inches of slack in the leg openings, I think it would be alright. Sadly I'm going to have to return these. Also, I didn't care too much for the drawstring. They seem a bit flimsy. They are also very long. Tying a single not, they dangle half way down the front. Also, the metal tassels have some weight to them. You can seriously injure someone by flinging them at someone. Lol. TLDR; don't buy these shorts if you have big legs.. bodybuilders, ruggers, etc.

Perfect trunks for those of us who have zero issue showing some more thigh
Love these swim trunks, perfect for us guys who are under 5'10"-ish (me being 5'8"). I live in south FL, and these shorter trunks are becoming more and more common at the beach (ABOUT TIME...blows my mind how people still wear shorts down to their knees). Fit is great, have received some compliments from the ladies about it showing the perfect amount of thigh. I'm going to order the red one as well, and also the other kind from 2(x)its that is 14 inches total length as well (this one is 12) for those (rare) times when I want something a bit longer. Highly recommended if showing more thigh than probably at least 80% guys at the beach isn't an issue for all. Some will say you need a fit physique to pull it off as well; that's up to you to decide, but personally I agree with that statement.

Good but small
Good material and quality but the size guide is off, especially if you're a guy that has thicker/muscular legs, they are very tight. You can spread your legs more than shoulder with a part.

Can't hold your phone in side pockets
I bought this because of the look and the side pockets. Turns out side pockets aren't good enough to hold a phone. Mine is a smaller phone than most as well so if you have any of those plus sizes you better not even try. Other than that the fit is pretty nice and the design is ok

QUALITY TRUNKS
These are simply the best, most well made trunks I've ever owned. Everything about these trunks is luxurious: the feel of the material, the fit, the look. You will not be disappointed. I'm a size 31 waist and the medium fit perfectly. Bout to buy the 2xist Cabo trunks now!

Dries fast, packs well
Very lightweight, for minimal packing and dries quickly. Not great for swimming laps because of pocket drag, but great for backyard Jacuzzi. Would be better for a public venue if they came with a longer inseam. I would not wear them to the beach. Well made though.

Great Quality Great Fit
Love these on my boyfriend. He has great legs and this really looks nice. We have been looking for a great quality swim trunk in white that are short. Now we know. This merchant has a variety of colors as well. Highly recommend.
